VASA/C is the world’s first single chip HDTV MPEG-2 codec LSI and has the capability to encode HP@HL video. About 80% broadcasters in Japan adopted VASA/C for their encoder and decoder equipments. So the video quality and stability are highly appreciated in Japan and also in the world broadcasting market.

SC3000 series is all-in-one compact encoder and decoder modules which support full HDTV video format. The modules adopted NEL original encoder LSI LibraENC and codec LSI SuperENCV which can achieve both high video quality and low latency codec.

Single Chip Transcoder LSI from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 AVC/ H.264

As HD video contents in digital video broadcasting are increasing, larger storage capacity such as HDD, Blue-ray and HD-DVD are highly required. This transcoder LSI can achieve to transcode the original HDTV MPEG-2 stream into HDTV H.264/AVC stream at the double compression ratio without lowering the video quality. So this transcoder LSI is the suitable solution for new generation storages.
