The small bouquet was found in the electron microscope. This is a SEM image of synthesized zeolite used for a catalyst in a variety of industrial applications. The structure of petal increases surface area and improves performance of catalyzer.
At 65th photo contest hosted by the Japanese Society of Microscopy in 2009.
