Cell Assembly Process

The cell assembly process joins an array substrate with a color filter substrate and fills the space between them with liquid crystal.
An alignment films is applied to a cleaned array substrate, and the surface is rubbed to orient the film in one direction. Spacers are sprayed onto the array substrate to control the cell gap before assembling it with a color filter substrate. The assembled substrates are then filled with liquid crystal, sealed, and laminated with a polarizer.
