Hitachi HPLC Driver for Waters® EmpowerTM 2 |

Hitachi High-Technologies developed the Hitachi HPLC Driver for Waters® EmpowerTM 2 and distributes the driver with Waters® EmpowerTM 2. The driver realized the seamless connectivity between Hitachi LC instruments (LaChromUltra and LaChrom Elite) and Waters® EmpowerTM 2. The driver was developed on OIP (Open Interface Portal), universal instrument driver interface provided by Waters®. |

The instrument condition for Hitachi LC can be set on EmpowerTM 2 and managed as the instrument method of EmpowerTM 2 software. The status of Hitachi LC instruments are displayed on EmpowerTM 2 data acquisition screen as status window. The instrument working record such as pump pressure, and error log are also managed by EmpowerTM 2. |

The data acquired by Hitachi LC detectors are transferred to EmpowerTM 2 via digital communication, and managed as the raw data of EmpowerTM 2 software. Many EmpowerTM 2 data managing function include 3D data management fully usable with Hitachi LC instruments. |

The regulatory conformity functions of EmpowerTM 2 such as audit trail are effective, working with Hitachi LC instruments also. Since the instrument condition and raw data are managed by EmpowerTM 2 software. Additionally, other EmpowerTM 2 options such as GPC option can be use with Hitachi LC instruments. |
