L-2455 Diode Array Detector

L-2450 UV-Vis Detector

  • Outstanding sensitivity
The innovative optical system combined with the optimized software has achieved a noise level as low as about one third of the level so far achieved by the conventional diode array detectors (compared with our existing models). Model L-2455 breaks the stereotypical idea that "diode array detectors are low in sensitivity."

  • Not affected by ambient temperature
The large lamp house of the L-2455 provides a stable light source. In addition, the new design allows isolation and heat insulation between its spectrograph and lamp house, helping cool the lamp house alone, thus protecting the spectrograph from fluctuations of ambient temperature. Moreover, a built-in temperature sensor has been newly added along with a fan that can adjust airflow rate according to temperature changes. All these design improvements help resolve internal temperature increase of the equipment and ensure higher-performance data analysis with low noise and high stability.

  • Precise spectral data through optimized wavelength resolution
The L-2455 is equipped with a 1024-bit photodiode array that provides high wavelength resolution (0.78 nm/bit). Additionally, the use of a grating spectrograph permits an optimized wavelength resolution consistent from the UV to visible range.

  • High-speed data analysis made possible by digital noise reduction
The incorporated digital noise reduction technology provides low-noise, sharp peaks even with a sampling period as short as 0.05 sec.

  • Automatic wavelength check
A mercury lamp is built in to perform an automatic wavelength check in the UV range, which is most frequently used for HPLC analysis.
