Hitachi High-Tech Publishes Corporate Social Responsibility Report 2008

Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation (President: Hidehito Obayashi) has published the Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) Report 2008.
The Report is available online at http://www.hitachi-hitec.com/global/csr/index.html

Hitachi High-Technologies is promoting actively so that stakeholders would understand the CSR activities of our company by issuing the Environmental Report in 2002 and reforming it to the CSR Report in 2005.
In the Report, the feature section, entitled “Contribution to Society through High-Tech Solutions”, explains how the business of the Hitachi High-Technologies Group contributes to solving environmental problems, which are currently causing concern worldwide. Moreover, concrete CSR activities in the local society and workplace are introduced by actual employees.

Hitachi High-Technologies established the CSR Promotion Division in April 2006, and has strengthened promotion of coporate social responsibility and environmental preservation activity further. As a report of these activities, the Report continuously discloses information and aim to be trusted from all stakeholders.
